Match the office to the task:
- For a local booking report or intake photo, start with the sheriff; the home page explains the focused KORA request path.
- For present county-jail status or release alerts, ask the sheriff and use Kansas VINE. Lincoln County has no public online roster.
- For a specific warrant, contact the court or sheriff as described under Wanted Fugitives; no county warrant portal exists.
- For filed charges, dismissal, plea, judgment, or sentence, use District Court. A jail entry does not establish disposition.
- For a person sentenced to state custody, use the Kansas Department of Corrections KASPER search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator, not the county jail.
- For an emergency or immediate threat, call 911 rather than sending a website message.
Lincoln County lists a $5 charge for sheriff arrest reports, but no separate booking-photo price. Copy and staff-time fees may also apply, so request an estimate before costs are incurred.
